Areas of Experience
BYU Sports Management
My career in the sports industry began in 2021 at BYU. I started as an intern and was promoted to a BYU game day production assistant about 6 months later. I have worked with over 5 BYU collegiate teams writing game day scripts, queueing the video board, running interactive promotions, and creating marketing plans specific to each sport.
BYU Fan Experience and Marketing
I was appointed head of the Fan Experience committee shortly after becoming a marketing assistant for BYU Athletics. As head of this committee, I created pregame experiences such as the video you see at the top of the page. Engagement through player-to-fan interaction, scavenger hunts, senior day initiatives and so much more to create bigger BYU fans.
Event/Customer Experience
I have worked in customer and event experience in many different industries including wedding planning, sports management, and religious devotional series. For each job, I used my skills learned from Experience Design and Management to strengthen touch points found in a holistic experience.
Social Media Marketing
My social media skills have been utilized in many different fields. Sports management and religious devotional volunteering have been fields to most heavily utilize my skills. In each of these fields, I have been able to increase total followers and refine the target market for each social media account.
Utah Jazz Membership Experience Project
My project with the Jazz was a needfinding project learning about season ticket members and their need to renew for the next season of membership. We used interviewing, triangulation, and observation to create a solution to solve the needs of the Jazz. The video on the left is a prototype of the solution we offered to the Jazz.
